Treatment for adults
The first session is called assessment session. Starting treatment is often a brave and difficult choice for many people. It is common to see a few therapists before deciding which practitioner is right for you, and this can be an off-putting first step. I truly believe in the importance of the long term changes you will see in yourself and it is very sad that in our society the cost of treatment is a barrier for most people. For this reason, there is discount for unemployed individuals, students and people on a limited income.
Appointments last for 50 minutes and cost €40 per individual session. In general, it is good for people who seek the help of a specialist to complete a cycle of about 12 sessions (3 months) in order to have a complete picture of the treatment and its benefits. At any time you can stop the treatment after discussing your decision, without commitments. For severe cases, this time frame may not be sufficient. The changes depend on the will of the treated person, on the therapeutic alliance, on how much he applies the advice offered to him, etc.
Sessions are usually weekly on the same day and time, but this can be negotiated depending on the client's individual circumstances.
